I do not usually comment on ongoing cases, the vast majority of my clients do not want their business to be aired out, and I of course respect and honor that.

The recent issues surrounding the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office are an exception. My clients are seeking accountability in the department for the good of others, not themselves, and I support their efforts. The citizens of our community, and our honest, hardworking law enforcement officers deserve good leadership at their Sheriff’s Office, they do not have that now. There are serious concerns about abuse of authority by the leadership, that needs to be thoroughly investigated, and, any individuals who have abused their authority need to be removed.
