As you are all aware, we are currently facing unique challenges due to the Coronavirus. While this is a serious crisis, it is important to keep it in perspective, and not allow it to prevent us from going about our business. We want to assure all of our clients that this office is prepared to serve your needs, regardless of what happens and how the virus affects Minnesota. In an effort to keep the office safe, we have stepped up prevention and sanitation measures in hopes to prevent disease transmission.

Because we are a paperless office, our entire staff is prepared to work from home if necessary. No matter what happens, we will continue to provide our clients with the highest quality legal services.  So far, not one client or staff member has become infected based on contact at this office and we will continue with safety protocols in an attempt to keep it that way. My office will continue to put the safety of our staff and you as our top priority. We do greatly appreciate your cooperation in conducting business in a safe fashion by utilizing current technology. Don’t take it for granted

| Jan 7, 2021 | Firm News

It is easy to take the good things in life for granted, until you lose them, and then you realize how important they were. Most of us in this country have taken for granted the rule of law and stable transfers of power following elections. Elections happen, we may back one candidate or another, but, regardless of the result life and work goes on. We take for granted resolving our political and legal disagreements peacefully, through the political process, and the courts. I have been to places where the rule of law is not respected, where those who cannot win an election use violence to try to force their will, trust me, you do not want to live there. Today for the first time in modern history, we saw actual violence used to try to influence the transfer of power in this country, what Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called an ‘insurrection’. Hopefully this is the last time we see this happen, we do not want our children to live in a country where they look back fondly to a time when we respected the rule of law, and transferred power peacefully.
