The current national emergency has created a lot of urgent legal issues. Our neighbors are wondering how they will pay rent and mortgage payments, how they will cover bills, what will happen with their kids now that schools are closed. Many business owners have had their operations shut down. Others have seen, or expect to soon see severe drops in their business volume, even if they are not shut down by an emergency order. Orders seem to be issued by the day from the state and federal governments. We do not know how this will play out, but it is clear that this will last a long time, we will not be back to normal anytime soon, and the impacts will be severe. We will likely see the highest unemployment rates most or all of us have seen in their lifetimes.
Our office is here to help in these tough times. We will offer a free consultation for all cases for anyone who has lost a job or business from this emergency, or had a household member impacted. We will do our best to answer your questions about problems caused by this situation, or any other legal issues that you have. We are open for business, all appointments are by phone or Skype. When you call, if you or someone in your home has been impacted please let our staff know, we will set up your appointment as soon as possible.
